A reduction in size or even complete remission of the arachnoid cyst is not expected, but may happen. In comparison to the preoperative CMRI (preoperative CMRI T1, T2) the cyst is already smaller. Also we see two small air pockets in the basal cisterns on the left where the artificial openings have been made (1, 2, 3).
