Acne fulminans is a rare and clinically severe form of acne. Acne fulminans causes hemorrhagic ulcers on the chest, back and face, muscle pain and significant limitation of the general quality of life. Systemic therapy with isotretinoin for 12 months, and for a shorter time with corticosteroids, was applied.
