Coiled giant aneurysm of the anterior cerebral artery (MCA) on the right. Macroscopic picture, partially thrombosed aneurysm. 5 1/2 years after coiling the aneurysm was resected because the patient developed epilepsy, the aneurysm increased in size and was supplied again through blood circulation.
One recognizes the significant alteration of the coils, the perforation of the aneurysmal wall and the organized thrombus.
