Approximately 1.5 year old child after 1st degree scalding of the upper layers of the skin in the area of the left upper body. Follow-up after about 1 week. Compared to the first picture (immediately after the scalding) there is already healing in process. The accident happened when the child reached for a cup standing on the table and tipped the cup so the hot liquid ran onto his torso. We see typical signs of scalding: redness, scabs (no bubbles). The 3 scalds are 2-5 cm long and vaguely drop-shaped.See also this picture
