Lungs
This picture shows the respiratory ducts with the larynx, trachea and the lungs. In the middle is the larynx with the thyroid gland and its cricoid cartilage, followed by the trachea that divides into the left and right main bronchus. The main bronchi divide into two or three secondary bronchi and the lobar bronchi divide into tertiary bronchi, depicted on the right half of the picture. On the left side: Left lung and its division into a superior, median, and inferior lobe by the oblique and the horizontal fissure.
