Packaged pill in the esophagus
The esophagus is a tubular hollow organ, 25-28cm in length, that in projection to the spine reaches from C6 to Th10. It lies in the superior posterior part of the mediastinum between trachea and aorta and touches the left atrium.
The removal of the pill led to perforation.
