15 year old boy with increasing muscle weakness, joint contractions and a photosensitive rash was showing up with the above demonstrated gingiva alterations. One can see dilated capillaries that led to recurrent bleedings. They are an expression of the vasculopathy in this type of juvenile dermatomyositis.
