Pronounced hemangioma, right side of the tongue.About 75% of hemangiomas are present at birth. About 60% are located in the head and neck region. The exact aetiology of the hemangioma is not yet clear, at present hamartomatous vascular anomalies and neoplastic developments are thought to be the cause.
