The seminal vesicle is an inner male reproductive pair of organs, located behind the urinary bladder. Its excretory ducts open into the upper (prostatic) part of the urethra, each one with a ductus deferens. The seminal vesicle produces an alkaline, fructose-rich secretion which is part of the sperm.
