Fibroblast
Fibroblasts are cells of the connective tissue that are important for synthetizing intercellular substance that is needed for the production of the so-called extracellular matrix. Fibroblasts are fixed connective tissue cells with mesenchymal origin. They lose their motility after maturing to fibrocytes.
