Anatomy of a sperm cell
A sperm (spermatozoon, semen, seminal cell) is the haploid (single set of chromosomes) male gamete cell which fertilizes the egg cell (sexual reproduction). It consists of a head with the genetic material, middle part with mitochondria, tail with microtubuli for locomotion.
