Renal biopsy due to kidney stones
Human kidney (ren, see hollow organ), embedded into fat (yellow), longitudinal cut. It`s a case of kidney stones (nephrolithiasis, see yellow chunklets). For further examination, a biopsy is extracted by a pair of forceps (see device and enhanced section).
