Foxglove and belladonna
The red foxglove (digitalis pupurea), top picture, is a highly poisonous plant. It contains digitalis glycosides that are used in medicine to increase the cardiac function. The belladonna (bottom picture) is poisonous as well. The alkaloid atropin has a parasympatholytic effect. It is e.g. used in opthalmology to dilate the pupils.
