Immune reaction in case of influenza
The influenza virus (luminal, top left of the illustration) is transmitted via droplet infection. They viruses cause an inflammatory reaction of the mucosae. The body`s own immune defense (antibodies) is activated. Most of the time, the body doesnt know the virus, due to influenza viruses being so variable, which makes the body become sick.
