The seminal vesicals lie against the back of the male urinary bladder (vesica urinaria). Their efferent ducts connect with the spermatic ducts (ductus deferens) originating from the testes before entering the urethra. The prostate surrounds the male urethra directly after leaving the urinary bladder (see below). The ureters enter the urinary bladder from the back after intersecting the spermatic ducts.
