Hallux valgus
Illustration of the pathological deformities in case of a hallux valgus. A hallux valgus is the most common toe malposition of humans. The big toe bends outwards, the metatarsal bone osseously grows out, often accompanied by a painful arthrosis of the metatarsophalangeal joint.
