Mucus producing epithelial cells in case of existing bronchitis
Inflammatory process of bronchitis with immigrated macrophages (see spiny blue balls) of the vascular system (see green tubes) and fibroblasts (blue with purple nucleus). Increased production of mucus by the epithelial cells (see red-pink cells) with release of the secretion (see lime green region) into the lumen.
