Comminuted calcaneal fracture
Intraoperative situs of an osteosynthetical plate treatment of a comminuted calcaneal fracture. These fractures are often surgically stabilized with screws and plates. The quality of these is crucial for the long-time prognosis and the later load capacity of the patient. The goal is to reposition the bone fragments and to recreate the subtalar joint surface between calcaneus and talus.
