A sample of megaloblastic anemia combined with a vitamin B12- and folic acid deficiency anemia is shown. Apart from the distinct macrocytic, hyperchromic anemia (MCV, MCH strongly increased), there are significant signs of hemolysis (LDH, bilirubin). The very low reticulocytes production index proves insufficient erythropoiesis.
