After removal of the old crowns and following gingival treatment and debridement the zirconia-cap prosthetic was fitted. This structure was built in a CAD-CAM procedure. Due to the fact that it is metal free zirconia ceramics have excellent properties which are particularly useful in the front-row teeth. A gingival and dental discolouring with accretions of metal ions is therefore impossible. After the fitting the prosthetics are veneered with ceramics in the dental technician’s laboratory.
