The histological characteristics of the bronchial walls are a multiple-row ciliated respiratory epithelium, glands (Glandulae bronchiales) and gobet cells, endocrine cells, and cartilage rings in the larger bronchial branches.
The bronchi are parts of the respiratory system. They are tubular structures in the lung, originating in the trachea. They transport air into the alveoli.
