All forms of hepatocellular carcinoma tend to a strong invasion of the surrounding blood vessels. Thus, tumor processes may possibly invade the Vena portae or Vena cava inferior and dislocate the vascular lumen.Metastases occur late in progression and usually are located in the regional lymph nodes, the lung, the bones and the adrenal glands.
