DIEGO GARCIA, British Indian Ocean Territory (Oct. 16, 2012) Dr. Jeanne A. Mortimer, a marine biologist, removes an old research tag from a sea turtle. Marine biologists worked with U.S. service members to capture, study and tag sea turtles in Turtle Cove, a protected feeding ground where endangered sea turtles gather.
