The gold-ringed cat snake or mangrove snake, Boinga dendrophilia, produces a poison whose main property is the effects of denmotoxin. This toxin interacts with the acetylcholine-receptors and is mostly specific towards a group of bids (Aves, main prey of the snake) in its effects.
