Lamotrigine is an anti-epileptic that has been used since 1993 in the treatment of epilepsy in children older than 12 years. In a special form of childhood epilepsy, Lennox-Gastaut-Syndrome, Lamotigine can also be used for children aged 2 to 12 years.
