Aneurysm of abdominal aortaThe big artery is seperated in the ascending aorta (Aorta ascendens), aortic arch, the descending aorta (Aorta descendens) and the abdominal aorta which itself is divided into a section above the superior renal artery, called suprarenal artery and into a section inferior to the renal artery called infrarenal artery. Due to surgical causes the segment of the aorta which goes distal from the branch of the left subclavian artery into the abdominal space is also called thoracoabdominal aorta, due to fact that this segment is the most vulnerable causing aneurysms.MediClin in our hospital offers the whole spectrum of aortic surgery. Neurological complications are minimized by anterograde brain perfusion (blood supply fot the brain while there is a stop of the circulatory system).
