Diagnosis: Breast cancer, diffuse metastasis in the skeleton
Description: All vertebras are full of irregular rendered yellowish metastasis. Lytic metastasis led to a compression fracture (white arrow) of the first lumbar vertebra.
Additional finding: Skeleton metastasis in the spine from the cervical up to the sacral part with suppression of hematopoiesis.
Minimal residue of the hematopoetic bone marrow (thrombopenia in the clinical data). Metastasis in the liver with secondary ischemic infarction. Hämangiosis carcinomatosa of the myocardium. Lymphangiosis carcinomatosa of the lungs, the myocardium and the pericardium. Infiltration of the nerve sheath in the pleura and carcinomatosis of the pleura. Pleura effusion, 750 ml on the right side.
Clinical presentation:
73 year old female patient with medium differentiated breast cancer. Mammakarzinom (pT2 pN1 G2). Ablatio mammae 14 years ago. Relapse on the thoracic wall and radiotherapy (50 grey) 6 years ago.
