You can see the significant expansion of a vascular aneurysm of the ascending aorta. The great aorta is divided into the ascending aorta (ascending aorta), the aortic arch, the descending aorta (descending aorta) and the abdominal aorta. The latter is divided in a section above the renal artery (suprarenal) or below the renal artery (infrarenalis). For reasons of the surgical technique, the aorta distal to the origin of the left subclavian artery into the abdomen is called aorta thorakoabdominalis because here often corresponding vessel enlargements (aneurysms) are formed.
