Healing chalk from Rügen is a snow-white fine-grained powder. In a dry state, it consists of 98% carbonated chalk (calcium carbonate). The rest are other minerals like silicium-, magnesium-, aluminium-, iron-, and phosphor compounds, and small amounts of iodine.
