Diagnosis: Central arterial cirrhotic kidney on the left in renal arterial stenosis
Description: Severe generalized atherosclerosis with numerous ulcerated atheromatous plaques. The right kidney is of normal size and shows multiple vascular cortical scars. The left kidney is considerably diminished. The surface of the cirrhotic kidney is beamless and finely granulated.
Additional finding: Old occlusion of the right renal artery.
