Patient history: 60 year old male patient, Lung fibrosis due to rheumatoid arthritis
Description: Subpleural enhanced lung fibrosis. Due to parallel existing diffuse alveolar damage the rest of the lung tissue appears quite compact.
Additional finding: Besides the preexisting lung fibrosis, a severe diffuse alveolar damage in progressed organization is found
Clinical symptoms: Since 10 years seropositive rheumatoid arthritis. Therapy with methotrexate, prednisone and Infliximab (TNF-Inhibitor). Hospitalisation due to difficulties of breathing. Progressed respiratory problems.
