Diagnosis: 44 year old male patient, partially organized hemorrhagic pulmonary infarctions.
Description: Two hemorrhagic infarctions of the lung parenchyma. On the base of the infarctions, bracnches of the pulmonary arteries clogged by emboli are visible. The parenchyma near the vessels is colored lighter because of the advanced organization.

Additional finding: Organizing paracentral pulmonary embolisms. Multiple fresh peripheral pulmonary embolisms, and multiple hemorrhagic pulmonary infarctions in all lobes. Severe pulmonary edema. Ischemic necroses in the distal colon. Shock kidneys. ARDS.
