Diagnosis: 61-year old female patient with anemic liver infarction after arterial embolisation of FNH (focal nodular hyperplasia)
Description: Irregularly circumscribed subcapsular yellow necoric area with hemorrhagig border - equivalent to an anemic infarction of the liver. Focally fresh bleeding.
Additional findings: Hemihepatektomy with widespread anemic necrosis of the liver parenchyma and circumscribed subcapsular bleeding. Focal thrombosis of portal vein braches.
Clinically: Liver necrosis after arterial embolisation. Focal nodular hyperplasia in segment VIII.
