The osteopath treats visceral organs by palpating the different qualities of tissues and by removing fibrous tensions because of bonding of the sliding surface between the organs. In this patient liver and stomach were partially restricted in their movement because of fixation as a result o pregnancy and birth. Via fibrous traction on the spine this caused a back pain.
