Together with physicians from the teaching hospital of Cologne, DocCheck has started a new project: can Google Glass revolutionise medicine? Developer and physicians act in concert for eventually making the daily work a little bit easier.
On monday, we met two representatives of the Heart Center of the teaching hospital of Cologne. Besides meeting the team in person, also first contacts were made with Google Glass and first ideas were collected.
Google Glass is the latest product of Google. The wearable computer on your nose lets you steep into augmented reality and can record videos, take photos and much more through voice command. At DocCheck, we are always searching for new trends, which could be interesting for medicine. Expectations and experiences from physicians on and with Google Glass are important for the developement. We want to create apps, which are a reasonable support in the daily business in surgery. And perhaps, you have some fun with them additionally.
